Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms apply when you use the midx website, beta browser extension, API-connected upload workflow, or official support channels. By using midx, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Beta service
midx is currently provided as a beta product. Features, limits, browser compatibility, availability, and behavior may change while the service is being tested and improved.
We may update, pause, limit, or discontinue any part of the beta service at any time, especially to protect reliability, security, legal compliance, or service costs.
What midx is for
midx is made for a more convenient TikTok Studio upload workflow through a supported desktop Chromium browser. The website explains the basic install steps, file limits, supported browsers, and what not to do during the flow.
midx is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Chrome, Google, Microsoft, or any other platform mentioned on this website.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for the files and videos you choose to upload.
- You must have the rights and permissions needed to use, upload, publish, or distribute your content.
- You must follow TikTok rules, copyright law, privacy law, and any other applicable requirements.
- You should keep your original files backed up. midx is not a file storage or backup service.
Do not use midx for
- illegal, infringing, abusive, harmful, or non-consensual content;
- content that violates someone else's copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights;
- spam, automated abuse, scraping, overload, or bypassing service limits;
- reverse engineering, attacking, or interfering with private systems or security controls;
- reselling or sharing access in a way that creates abuse, risk, or unauthorized commercial use.
Content ownership
You keep ownership of your videos and other content. midx does not claim ownership of your uploaded files.
By using the service, you give midx the limited permission needed to run the requested beta upload workflow, including receiving, temporarily handling, transmitting, and deleting files as described in the Privacy Policy.
Limits and availability
The beta may include file size limits, video length limits, browser requirements, rate limits, temporary maintenance, and other technical restrictions.
Uploads may fail because of browser behavior, network issues, unsupported files, platform changes, beta errors, or third-party service behavior. We do not guarantee any specific upload result, ranking, visibility, reach, monetization, or acceptance by any platform.
No warranties
midx is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, midx and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes lost profits, lost data, lost content, business interruption, platform account actions, failed uploads, or third-party platform decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page. Continued use of midx after an update means you accept the updated terms.
